- Navigate to the project you are working in
- Click on “list” in the sub navigation
- Find the task list associated with the appropriate service or department
- Click add task at the bottom of the task list
- Title the task with what needs to be done
- Unacceptable task names: add button, design creatives, questions etc.
- Acceptable task names: create facebook ad creatives for (audience) campaign, add caption below featured image on individual blog posts
- Assign task
- Tasks should only be assigned to 1 person
- No task should ever say anyone (even if this task does not need to be completed immediately)
- Due date
- Every task has a due date even if it’s 1 year from now
- Add description
- This needs to be meaningful
- Add examples, references, screenshots, important information or directions
- Add attachments if necessary
- Priority
- Select low or high priority if it falls into one of those categories otherwise leave blank
- Estimate
- All tasks should have a time estimate on them.
- Repeats
- Set repeating frequency as needed
