This process includes incremental steps for planning, shooting, editing, and finishing a successful video project. We will employ all our knowledge and skill to ensure the production of an amazing piece for your business.

Preparation (pre-production)
Pre-production or “Pre” for short, includes everything needing to be accomplished and organized prior to the day of shooting. Below, we break down the details of our preparation process and how it may apply to your project needs.
Story Exploration & Gathering
For us, we start and end with the story. Our goal is to have everyone who watches to feel a connection with the goal or “why” of your video.
With this in mind as our goal, we will seek to fully understand your video project’s concept, backstory, and tone before we proceed to develop the concept for your video.
Conceptualization, Scripting, & Storyboarding
Once we have a firm grasp on your project’s story and “why”, we will develop the perfect concept for your video. Once the concept is approved we move on in the pre-production process.
Scripting
If your conceptualized video requires live actors with scripted speaking roles, voiceover, or both, we will create a custom film script for your project.
Storyboarding
A storyboard is a visualization tool used in filmmaking to plan all of the shots, movements, and key edits of a video project and we will create on for your project if it requires it.
This preparation is key for making more complex shoots go smoothly. Leaving little to question, allowing us, the filmmakers to focus on what’s important on the day of shooting.
Planning
Once the concept, script, and/or storyboard are approved, we begin the most important process of filmmaking, planning. We will take the steps needed to ensure an excellent production including:
Casting
Should your project require actors and actresses, we can assist you in the casting process to find the perfect fit for the part. If full service casting or a large scale casting call is required, additional fees and day rates for talent may apply.
Location Scouting
As part of our standard package, we will shoot one location for your video. However, multiple locations are absolutely an option at an additional fee depending on proximity and complexity. Also, while we will always try to find free location options, some locations will require a fee that must be reviewed and approved by the client.
Art Direction (sets, props, costumes, lighting, etc.)
Now that we know what and where we are filming, it’s time to develop the “look” of your production. This includes everything seen by the camera and can include props, constructed sets, special costumes, and lighting.
Props & Costumes
If not already provided by you, the client, we will acquire any props or costumes needed for your project. We will always attempt to find free options however, additional fees may be required for costume rental or custom prop creation.
Lighting design
We will design the proper lighting that will set the correct mood for your video. If the approved lighting design requires additional or specialty equipment rentals, we will keep you, the client informed on fees and cost for approval.
Scheduling & Shot Lists
As we go through the process that is pre-production, we will schedule our shoot date(s).
We will take all of the pieces laid out during planning to make sure all people and resources are where they need to be, when they need to be there. We create custom “call sheets” to keep the entire production organized and on schedule throughout the day.
Our director will also create his shot list to make sure everything we need is “in the can” before we wrap your project’s principal photography.
Production
The pre-production process is highly involved and takes a significant amount of time. This is no accident, for every moment we spend on planning, we are saving time and improving the quality of your video shoot.
On the day of production, we run the show. Everyone will know where they need to be, what they need to do, and when they need to do it. Production is a beautifully orchestrated and controlled chaos. And we love it!
We will meticulously create every needed shot and angle for your room’s final video, using out storyboards, shot lists, and scripts as guides.
Equipment
Camera, Light, & Sound
We typically use 1-2 cameras on any shoot. Occasionally, if a project requires it, we will have a 3rd camera person on set as well. We also bring all needed lighting, production, and sound recording gear required for your shoot.
Expertise
Our lead director and producer has spent more than a decade in the industry including his directing of two feature films in Phoenix and Los Angels.
Post Production
Finishing a video after it is shot take as much or more time as it did to plan it. We have more than a decade of filmmaking experience, our knowledge and skill in the cutting room will result in an excellent end product.
Video Editing
Editing is where your video will come to life. Following the storyboard and script, we will piece together all the shots into one cohesive storyline. Our editing style and pace will match the mood and tone of your video project.
Graphics & CTA Splash Screen
We will create text motion graphics as needed for your projects. More elaborate and custom motion graphics are also available and we can quote you with any additional cost.
Color Grading
We adjust color, temperature, and more to create the best look for your video.
Sound
We expertly mix the dialogue with music, natural sound, sound FX when required. We can also facilitate the recording of professional voice over using talent from all over the world.
Review and Approval
Once we have created your video edit, we will submit it to you for notes and/or approval. Tyipically, two rounds of notes are all that is needed to complete a video project.
Final Delivery
Now that you’re amazing video is completed, it will be sent to you in the desired format and specs. We can also upload your video to any web platform such as YouTube or Vimeo as needed.
